Yanga Returns 112 Million Fei Toto Answers "Player's Letter Has Misconceptions"

WHILE the reports state that Yanga's Midfielder, Feisal Salum Abdallah 'Fei Toto' has written a letter to terminate his one and a half year remaining contract to join Azam FC, his club has tried to block the deal. Fei Toto who started serving Yanga in 2018, his contract with the club is expected to end on May 30, 2024. It is said that Azam FC, which has been chasing Fei Toto for a long time, has persuaded the star to the point of writing a letter to terminate his contract, paying money to do so just to join them. In response to the beatings, last Saturday, Yanga issued a statement on the issue which explained that: "The Yanga Club informs the public and members of Yanga regarding the information of our player, Feisal Salum Abdallah that is spreading in social networks. "The club confirms receiving a letter from the player on December 23, 2022 stating the termination of the contract between him and the club. "The Yanga club has written to and replied to Feisal and among the responses are as follows; There are no statutory or legal grounds according to his contract that give the player the right to terminate his contract with the club in accordance with the current contract agreement. "FIFA's rules of procedure are clear and have explained all the procedures on this kind of matter. That the contract between the player and the club cannot be broken by just one side without discussing with the other side while the league season is in progress.
"That, under those circumstances, the player's letter has a false concept and has no legal basis to break the contract between the club and the player. "And for that reason, we have instructed Feisal to comply with the requirements of his contract as stated in the contract. The club has also reminded Feisal that his current contract is valid until May 30, 2024. "In addition to that, we would like to inform the public that, in appreciation of Feisal's level and contribution to our club, we have already started negotiations between the Yanga Club and Feisal's representatives led by the player's mother to improve his interests and extend his contract now which ends in May 2024. "However, the club has not received an alternative response to the proposals for these improvements from Feisal and his representatives and instead we have received a letter explaining the termination of the contract from Feisal's side which is against the agreement of his current contract. "The club has already refunded the amount of TZS 112,000,000 (one hundred and twelve million) that Feisal deposited in the club's account. "We would like to explain that there are rules and regulations of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) and those of the World Football Federation (FIFA) which must be followed by any team that wants to sign up any Yanga Club player. "Yanga insists that Feisal Salum Abdallah is a legitimate Yanga player and has a contract until May 30, 2024."
