Libyan citizen, Lockerbie brought to court in the United States if he was used to bring down the plane.

Lockerbie, a Libyan citizen brought to court in the United States for being used to bring down a plane Abu Agila Mohammad Masud Kheir Al-Marimi. The Libyan intelligence officer who is accused of making the bomb used to bring down the Pan Am plane and kill 259 people, who were on board and 11 on the ground, in Lockerbie, Scotland, has been brought to court in Washington, USA. Abu Agila Mohammad Masud Kheir Al-Marimi, is accused of the crime in 1988 which has been called an international terrorist event. The US Justice Department announced on Sunday that Masud had been arrested, two years after he was indicted in connection with the attack. Other Libyan intelligence officers have been indicted in the United States for participating in the incident, but Masud has been the first to be brought before the American court in connection with the case. The plane that was heading to New York, exploded less than an hour after taking off from London, December 21, 1988. It was carrying citizens from 21 countries, who died. Among them were 190 Americans.
